Listed below are a number of venues that we have had the pleasure of working with during the past 13 years. Whether you are looking for a historic backdrop, something more modern, or picturesque outdoor space to place a marquee, there really is something for everyone.
For more information on these fantastic venues, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you contact the venues directly, we would be grateful if you would quote Ej Catering as your information source.
We are also very experienced at working discreetly within people’s homes as part of our private catering service (and we always strive to leave kitchens tidier than when we found them!).
Insole Court, a gothic Victorian mansion and gardens nestled in the leafy suburbs of Llandaff, Cardiff, is a 160-year-old house with a rich and fascinating story. Once at risk of being forgotten, it was saved by the community and reopened to the public in 2016.
Originally home to the Insole family, who were pioneering coal-shippers and mine-owners, railwaymen and docksmen during the three generations of Welsh Steam Coal’s dominance of world industry; the house and gardens are now in the hands of a charity, the Insole Court Trust. The venue now hosts a wide variety of events, classes and activities, with rooms available for hire in both the mansion and the restored Stable Yard.
As of 2018, Insole Court is now a fully licensed wedding venue, able to offer an intimate wedding experience to couples looking for a venue rich in Welsh history and timeless elegance. The gothic architecture, set against Victorian pleasure gardens, offers a perfect backdrop for a special celebration, just a stone’s throw away from the city centre.
Insole Court offer a series of different wedding packages and are able to work closely with couples to create bespoke packages for smaller or alternative weddings.
If you would like Insole Court to host your big day, to book a tour of the rooms in the house or for more information on wedding packages, please e-mail the Bookings Manager email@example.com
