This weekends boiling sunshine held some busy days for us at EJ Catering! We supplied food for five large events over the three days, with thirty-two of our staff out across Wales. We fed a massive 620 people in the Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff and Swansea. This included two beautiful weddings, two sizzling BBQ’s and a corporate fun day, all whilst managing not to melt!
This morning our corporate client SRK Consulting wrote: “The day was truly fabulous, with such good food and service from you guys, the compliments are flowing.” Following this they have just booked us for the event next year.
They had a fantastic menu including tartar of scallops and smoked salmon with lemongrass crème fraîche, soft boiled quail egg with broad bean puree and shiso cress and popcorn served with butter and sage salt.

Welsh lamb chops, brushed with lemon rosemary and olive oil, served with salsa Verde
King prawns with a lemon and coriander butter
Butcher’s sausages on a stick with homemade tomato ketchup sauce
Homemade fire burgers, lightly spiced with fresh chilli and herb in homemade sesame seed buns
