Chilli tomatoes with savoury granola

Chill Tomatoes with Savoury Grenola

Makes: for 6
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

  • For this session you will need
  • 6-12 tomates
  • Olive oil
  • Hot red chilli flakes
  • Rock salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbs Savoury granola
  • Sticky sweet treacle glaze

Method

With a sharp knife hassle back the tomatoes, just like you would with a potato. Place them on a baking tray with space between each one.

Sprinkle with rock salt, grind pepper, sprinkle chill flakes, splash the olive oil all over.

Peel the garlic and slice thinly. Place this in between random layers of the sliced tom.

Place in a hot oven ( 210oc) for about 20 mins. The edges should begin to brown and caramelise.

Crush savoury Granola over the top to add a nutty crunch and fling the sticky treacle glaze over the plate!
