The fun and joy of canapés! They are my personal favourite – small mouthfuls of different tastes, delicately and innovatevly presented. It is an opportunity to experiment with food as most of your favourite dishes can be recreated into a mouthful. I love the presentation on platters, slates, wood planks, bamboo baskets, boats or cones, tongs, skewers and long handled tea spoons. Flowers, grand leaves, candles and petals, canapés need to attract the eye, make the mouth water and then not let you down!
A good canapé needs a chef on site. At ej catering our team ‘assemble and send’, making sure you eat them at their best: crisp & hot or crunchy & chilled, just as we designed them to be.
Our experienced waiting team will set up a bar, serve drinks on arrival to your guests, take coats and top up, whilst others bring the canapés round with a smile.
Wine, beers, and/or soft drinks, glasses, ice (even a coat rail if required) can all be added if necessary. Let us ‘take the strain’ and leave you free to enjoy the company of your guests to the full!
