What does your job title actually mean?
My job involves a bit of everything! I’m responsible for dealing with day to day enquiries, liaising with customers and sending quotes. I coordinate all of the event information and manage the logistics to ensure the smooth delivery of our food and service. I’m responsible for arranging everything we need to physically make the event happen, from ordering the hire such as plates and cutlery, ordering wines and glassware, managing the staff rota, keeping the chefs updated on all of our upcoming gigs and constantly innovating and transforming our services to keep the business moving forward and achieving our goals!
What has been your path into this industry?
At Uni I worked on various events and instantly knew I wanted to play a part in the hospitality industry. After graduating I got a job at Celtic Manor and worked my way up from reservations agent to event manager. I’ve worked on various events and conferences and have worked in both the public and private sector.
What is your favourite meal?
I love all food! My favourites include fish and anything Mexican

Gin & tonic with a slice of cucumber!
What do you like best about your job?
Every day brings a new challenge and I’m always learning, it makes my job interesting and keeps me motivated!

Missing hire items!

Most memorable event you have worked on?
I was lucky enough to be involved with the NATO summit 2014. I organised a canapé and drink reception for 300 guests who had been invited by Prince Charles to meet and mingle with HRH and various other world leaders.
