Catering private parties is one of our specialties and we were thrilled to be asked to create a fabulous Club Tropicana themed birthday party.
From receiving the enquiry, Emma conducted a site visit to view the catering and party space and discuss the menu ideas. The purpose of the site visit is to ensure there is adequate catering space for our chefs to work from, and note any equipment that will need to be hired. We take photographs and add any useful information for example access and parking to the file. It also gives us a chance to meet new clients face to face.
To tie in with the Club Tropicana theme, Emma designed the following menu…
Bags of hot rock plantain crisps
Carpaccio of beef with radish pickles
Gin and beets gravalax
Aromatic beef curry spoons with coriander leaf & scallion
Jerk pork sliders with pink onions , guacamole, sour cream and chilli salt
Free range chicken and lemon grass on banana leaves with chilli, mint & lime
Satay vegetable soft tacos with crispy lettuce
Tropical rock melon and prawn cocktail in little gems
Hot dogs with crispy onions
Smoked paprika and Parmesan
Garlic and parsley
Chargrilled BBQ pineapple sticks
Strawberries dipped in chocolate and popping candy
Peach Melba ice cones
Black forest brownies
Skewered Watermelon soaked in Margarita syrup
We also provided our popular ‘EJs gin bar’ which included four different gin cocktails. A parrot shaped ice luge was also arranged, ice sculptures can be added to any bar and come in almost any size and shape tailored to your theme!
